Lieutenant Rick Peters is a veteran Firefighter, paramedic, AND father of four children. He brings 28 years of experience in firefighting to the design of BABYRESCUE and PETRESCUE. "Being trapped on an upper floor is terrifying. Because I've been there, I invented BABYRESCUE to give parents peace of mind and comfort knowing that in the event of an emergency, they will have a safe, easy way to get their babies to safety. I've seen firsthand how terrifying it is for a family to be trapped on an upper floor with a baby. And I've seen the heart break when a treasured family pet didn't make it out of a fire. I invented BABYRESCUE to give parents peace of mind and comfort in knowing that in the event of an evacuation emergency they have a fast, safe and easy way to get their babies to safety. PETRESCUE comes from the many challenging experiences I've had getting frightened animals out of evacuation situations. "Pet parents" are parents too!"
